Last year, I examined the initial Asus Zenbook Duo and was impressed by how smoothly its dual-display technology was integrated. Perfect for productivity and an enjoyable feature overall, the extra panel hidden beneath the detachable keyboard was implemented very well.

Asus’s 2025 update of the Zenbook Duo keeps the beloved core design intact; however, it now features the newest Arrow Lake processor, the Intel Core Ultra 9 285H, all housed in the same sleek chassis. This update is mainly aimed at boosting performance and extending battery life for a better user experience.

In other words, it remains the same high-quality laptop; however, it experiences a drawback in one significant aspect due to its new processor. Nonetheless, it continues to be one of the leading touchscreen laptops available.

The concept of a detachable keyboard may lead one to question whether it feels less premium than a standard laptop keyboard; however, please be assured that each key provides a satisfyingly tactile click.

The 5.1 x 2.9-inch touchpad exhibits a smooth tactile experience, and multi-finger gestures such as switching between tabs and minimizing windows function seamlessly. However, it shares common limitations, as its upper region remains non-clickable. Otherwise, it
